I Was Wrong

This little idea came to me earlier today, and wouldn't go away... So, I finally took the time to form it, and let it grow... It made me think about times when I've done things that hurt someone/God... Thank God, God doesn't give up on us, even if we don't always deserve Him...

I'm sorry,
And showed You
The part of Me
That wishes it could
Turn back the pages...

Would you give me
Your time?
And forgive me
For lying?...
I never thought I'd
Have to say this!...

But...
I was wrong.
I'm not as strong
As I thought.
I threw away all I had,
Now I don't deserve you back!...

But if it's good-bye,
Please don't regret the good times!...
I'm sorry!...
Oh, will you smile for me
One last time?....
