Pure

Before I say anything else, I'm excited to announce that I've registered izzygalvez.com! Now my blog's home is izzygalvez.com instead of izzygalvez.blogspot.com (though, any links for izzygalvez.blogspot.com will automatically forward to izzygalvez.com). You'll also notice some minor changes to the layout, including the new header... :)

Recently, things have been going slow for me, songwriting-wise. The end of April and first week of May I was busy finishing my first year of college, which I think was a successful year, over all. I managed to score a 3.61 cumulative GPA!.. I've definitely grown a lot this last year, stepped out of my comfort zone. When I started this blog back in 2006 I was such a shy kid. Now, I'm learning that I am more extroverted than I thought. Haha.

But yeah, my college experience so far has been good. Just staying healthy and safe, being myself, and following God. The Fall looks very promising as well. You'll hear more about it as things get closer. :)

Anyway, the following is a short prayer I wrote earlier tonight. You can never be too far away from God, but that shouldn't stop you from trying to be close...

Purify me.
Burn inside me.
Fill me up with Your love.
Breathe into my lungs...

Purify me.
Work inside me.
Heal me, undo the scars.
Bleed into my heart...

Make me pure...
Make me Yours...
Again...
